Course for medical doctors is a two-day course with 18,5 training units consisting of both theoretical and practical parts. It is designed for doctors and gives an overview of the most relevant topics helping to enhance expertise in conservative scoliosis management.
Topics range from definition of scoliosis, etiology, pathomechanism, radiological assessment and examination to basic elements of Schroth therapy and brace treatment to the importance of the sagittal profile.
The practical part incorporates case reports, scoliometer and radiological measurements to learn the technical details necessary to collect data for the diagnosis and evaluation of the treatment.
